The Crow Moons

September in the foothills can still be hot, and plants are beginning to fade. The crows gather in trees or take to the air to rail at the hawks in the ongoing territorial feud. The crow on the right was featured in the Year of Moons calendar, but the Winged Crow is still waiting for stardom.
